This Policy sets forth how we handle user information collected through the smartphone application "SakeChoice" (hereinafter referred to as "the App").

1. Scope of Application
This Privacy Policy applies to the handling of user information (including personal information as defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information) collected and used by us in connection with the provision and operation of the App.
2. Information We Collect
2-1. User Registration Information
- Registered email address, display name, etc.
2-2. Sake-Related Information (information registered or operated by the user within the App)
- Sake records registered by the user (e.g., notes on sake consumed, ratings, image IDs, etc.)
2-3. Usage Status and Device Information
- Access analytics data via Google Analytics (app usage events, screen transitions, dwell time, etc.)
- Identifiers assigned to the device (OS-provided advertising identifiers, etc.), OS type and version, app version, etc.
- Technical information for crash logs and performance measurement
As a general rule, we do not collect location information, contacts, payment information, or other data that readily identifies the individual (if collection becomes necessary due to feature additions, etc., we will provide in-app notice and revise this Policy).
3. Purpose of Use
- To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the App
- For user registration, authentication, and account management
- To store, display, and back up sake information registered by users
- To analyze usage status, improve quality, enhance features, and plan new features
- To handle defects, respond to inquiries, and deliver important notifications
- To deliver targeted advertising and measure its effectiveness
4. Provision to Third Parties and Information Collection Modules
4-1. Principle
We do not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the user's prior consent, except where disclosure is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations. However, the following cases are exceptions.
- When we entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to merger or other reasons
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency, or an entrusted party thereof, in carrying out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent would impede the performance of such duties
- Other cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations
4-2. Integration of Information Collection Modules and Third-Party Provision
The App incorporates information collection modules for the purpose of improving software quality and delivering targeted advertising using user information. Accordingly, we provide user information to information collection module providers (advertising distribution operators, etc.) as follows.
・Sake-related information registered by the user within the App (e.g., "favorites" registrations, registered/recorded sake information, etc.)
・Access analytics data via Google Analytics (app usage events, screen transitions, dwell time, device identifiers (advertising ID, etc.), OS/app version information, etc.)
Information not provided: User registration information (email address, display name, etc.) is not provided to third parties.

4-4. Opt-Out and Settings
- You can reset the advertising identifier or restrict delivery of interest-based ads through device settings (e.g., iOS "Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking," etc.).
- For Google Analytics, you may use the "Opt-Out" method linked above.
- You may be able to choose to stop the use of data for advertising purposes from the privacy settings provided by the App (will be announced within the App after release).
5. Storage and Security Management of Information
- Collected information is stored under appropriate access controls in a cloud environment managed by us.
- We implement necessary and appropriate technical and organizational security management measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage and to ensure other safety management.
- When entrusting, we conduct appropriate supervision of the entrusted parties.
6. User Management of Information and Rights
- Users can confirm, correct, or delete registered information through the in-app functions or by contacting us.
- If a request for account deletion is made, we will delete the relevant personal information within a reasonable period (excluding information that must be retained by law).
- We also respond to requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc., of retained personal data based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. For specific procedures, please contact "9. Contact."
7. Retention Period
We retain information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of collection, and promptly delete or anonymize it after the purpose is achieved (except where retention is required by law).
8. Changes to the Policy
We may revise this Policy in response to legal amendments, changes in service content, etc. When there are significant changes, we will notify users through in-app announcements or the official website. The revised Policy will become effective on the date of notification, unless otherwise stipulated by us.
